This is my first solo C++ project, designed to showcase my programming skills.
It’s a Rock, Paper, Scissors game with a twist, featuring a counter ability to override a loss and a double damage button for added strategy. The project’s primary focus was to improve my C++ skills while also developing a smart AI that can predict player choices highlighting my expertise in AI programming and game logic.

For my IT diploma project at Pauliskolan Gymnasium I developed Drift King, a top-down car game in Unity.
It features a custom Blender-made track, VFX like car smoke and skid marks and my first fully functional main menu.
The goal is to finish as fast as possible while staying on track and collecting pickups for points.

My passion for video games led me to explore how they are created. When my gymnasium offered a Unity course in 2021, I was eager to dive in. Before that, my programming experience was limited to home projects in Scratch. Working with Unity, I discovered that problem-solving, something I've always enjoyed in math, quickly became my favorite aspect of programming.
In 2021 I successfully completed my Programming 2 course by creating a top-down Deer game using the skills I had acquired throughout the Unity course. The objective of the game was to collect power-ups while avoiding falling obstacles.
Six months later, to graduate I had to create a diploma project in IT. I decided to make a top-down car game. This project was more challenging as I had to design the track in Blender and create VFX for wheel smoke and skid marks both of which were new to me. Despite the difficulties, I was proud of the final product, which received positive feedback from my teachers and friends. Their encouragement increased my passion for game programming.
Following my success with these projects, I decided to pursue my passion for game programming by enrolling at FutureGames, where I am currently expanding my programming knowledge.
Throughout my first year, I had the opportunity to work on three additional game projects, each of which expanded my skills in areas such as team-based programming, mobile game development, and working under pressure.
I am excited to continue growing my skillset and tackling new challenges as I pursue a career in game programming.
During my second year at FutureGames I worked on my final game project at the school collaborating with my team to create The Menagerie.
After completing the project I began the gameplay programming course at FutureGames. But there were some lesson free days where I took the opportunity to start my own project, RPS. While still a work in progress, I continue refining it to create a fully polished experience.
With these experiences and my passion for learning I am now seeking an internship as a Gameplay Programmer/AI Programmer. This opportunity would be a significant step toward entering the industry and experiencing what it’s like to work at a game studio.
